Fishing Clothes

Fishing Clothes used to consist of an old t-shirt, shorts, baseball cap and a pair of flip-flops. Now, fishing apparel is geared towards protecting your skin from the sun with UV Protective Fishing Hats and Fishing Shirts, while still looking good enough to wear as casual, everyday clothes.

Boat shoes too, have come a long way, where topsiders are seen more as casual wear for lunch or dinner and more breathable mesh - sneaker style shoes are worn on deck.

A good pair of fishing sunglasses is a must for fighting the sun's glare on the water and spotting fish just below the surface. Something you wouldn't be able to do with street shades.

Many people still wear their old baseball hats on the water, but you might want to consider steering away from the traditionally styled baseball cap for fishing, since it provides little to no protection for your neck and ears, not to mention your sweating scalp! Fishing hats are made especially for sun protection, with wider brims, neck capes and ample venting holes to let the heat escape from the top of your head.
